How to Make Sure You Get My Emails (AKA Whitelist Instructions)
If you’ve signed up for my newsletter or grabbed a freebie, you'll want to make sure my emails don’t get lost in spam or promotions folders.
Here’s how to whitelist my email address so you never miss an update:
Step 1: Add Me to Your Contacts
Add this email to your address book or contact list:
melanie(at)melanieansley(dot)com
Handy Instructions for Popular Email Providers:
Gmail
- Open Gmail and go to your spam or promotions tab.
- Find one of my emails.
- Click the three dots ( ⋮ ) in the top right of the message.
- Select "Add [melanie(at)melanieansley(dot)com] to Contacts list".
- Drag the email to your Primary tab if it’s in Promotions.
Apple Mail (iPhone/iPad)
- Open the email.
- Tap the sender's name.
- Tap "Add to VIP" or "Create New Contact".
Outlook
- Open the email.
- Right-click the sender’s name.
- Select “Add to Outlook Contacts”.
Yahoo Mail
- Open the email.
- Hover over the sender’s name.
- Click “Add to contacts”.
Still not seeing my emails?
Check your Spam, Promotions, or Junk folders and move the email to your inbox, or click on the option "not spam". That tells your email provider you want to hear from me!
