The panel, titled "The Great Escape – the Rise and Rise of Romantasy," will delve into the growing trend of romantasy—fantasy novels that blend rich world-building with captivating love stories. I’ll be joined by Lisa Terrino, author of Prince of Fortune, and Keshe Chow, author of The Girl With No Reflection.
We’ll be discussing how romantasy is shaping fantasy literature, what makes these stories so irresistible, and where the genre is heading next.
I’m especially excited because Daylesford is one of my absolute favorite local haunts. It's a spa town, nestled in the heart of Victoria just 40 minutes drive from me, and is home to one of my fave bookshops, Paradise Books. I'm looking forward to a cosy winter day with other passionate readers and authors.
